FIST are Newcastle’s alt-punk spark-plugs. We mix skate punk speed with thrash riffs, ska grooves, and rap-driven hooks, all balanced with our loud, cheeky, high-energy approach. Think The Living End meets RHCP meets Turnstile. Built from the garage up, we write serious songs and crack dumb jokes with maximum impact every time we hit a stage.

Misery Hill is a 7 track snapshot of a band who spent an entire year writing, releasing, and evolving in real time. Throughout 2025 we committed to a 12-month 12 release project, using every single drop to experiment, refine our voice, and push deeper into what FIST could become.
The album pulls together the strongest emotional and sonic threads from that year and shapes them into a single story. It captures the climb from burnout to clarity, the moments of heaviness, the flashes of hope, and the constant pull between vulnerability and aggression that has defined our sound.
Misery Hill is not a compilation. It is the culmination of everything we built in 2025.​

JANUARY AND FEBRUARY TOUR
To celebrate the release of Misery Hill we are hitting the road throughout January and February with our good mates Loose Surface, the Wollongong feminist alt-rockers who have been tearing up stages across the coast. These shows bring together two high energy acts with a shared love of community, chaos, and sweaty rooms packed like sardines. Dates and cities will be announced shortly.​​
